Dash Academy: HOW TO AUDITION FOR RAINBOW DASH*long sigh* Where do I begin?
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.
The DASH ACADEMY film project has received alot of volunteers for Voice Acting, but not as much for Artists/Animators. I've only written what is the equivalent to a half-hour of the movie... I wrote alot last night though. I've changed my mind on one thing though... if anyone wants to try out for Rainbow Dash right now, you can. The reason I'm doing this is because I've found that RAINBOW DASH is a very well-known character... people know her personality, voice, etc... and it's just one less sequence of auditions that will be set up after the script is finished. One more thing, it might help spread the word around about this if everyone e-mails the news about a DASH ACADEMY movie to EquestriaDaily... just a thought

I'm writing about how the video game industry is in trouble because of the availability of cheap smartphone games(like Angry Birds and stuff). Casual gamers who aren't that concerned with the quality of games and simply want something to play around with while commuting are now buying dirt-cheap games on their smartphones, which is more convenient for them, but has harmed the sales of retail video games. I mean, why should people bother buying a 3DS or a Vita when they have something that can play games as well as do a lot of other stuff?  This is bad news for companies like Nintendo, but could be advantageous for third-party developers who release their games across pretty much all platforms(consoles, handhelds, smartphones, PC etc.).

Oh No!This year has been off to a very shaky start I must admit! Poor Mr. Cain was involved in a dreadful car accident that completely totaled his car, and wrecked a telephone pole, but he managed to escape, incredibly, with just a few bumps and bruises. So we're just getting things back to normal around here. Well, normal for us.

Disappointed in the Fans*WARNING. THIS JOURNAL CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS ABOUT THE MLP SEASON 3 FINALE.*
*Although everyone is talking about it, and the Hub had already released a picture and basic summary, I still don't want anyone to read this if they are trying to avoid further spoilers.*
I'm a little disappointed in the bronies right now.
I'm hearing nothing but negative things about this new announcement. What happened to the days when bronies used to get excited to see every new episode, no matter what it was about? And the 'nay-sayers' were usually only complaining for a day or so, and then suddenly the episode they were complaining about is the 'best episode of the season'. I remember when the episode 'Luna Eclipsed' came out. There was a shit-storm about her new appearance. Everyone was bitching and complaining. But now? Luna's new look is beloved by everyone, with gobs and gobs of fanart. You can scarcely find any fanart of her previous form anymore.

HEY EVERPONY!!!!!

Lots to cover in this journal entry (bear with me for the newcomers who may be reading this, I tend to ramble :) )

SorcerusHorserus' journal post has not only let more people know about the project, but it's also had more people ask about being apart of it. THAT MAKES ME FEEL... what's the word I'm looking for... GIDDY! yes, that's a good word... giddy. I'm working on the script as I'm typing this.

I'll be letting everyone (everypony) know when and how they can audition for roles as soon as I get farther along in the script... because I'm still in the early stages of the script, only a few pages in.

Again, I'll keep everyone updated on the project, and if you're interested, lemme know.

I've never done voice-only acting before but I've acted a little and I sing so if you need singing voices I could at least help out with that. I also write music if you wanted to add a song or two like the episodes have. That could be fun. :D I don't know flash yet but I can design characters too. I'm from the UK so I guess, presuming she ever appears, I'd be best voicing Rarity, if anyone at all outside of singing.

You seem to be oversubscribed for voice actors, but seeing as I suck at everything else I'm afraid that would also be my contribution, though mind you, seeing as I've never done it before, I most likely suck at that too lol :D
